The Spirit Lives On…
Justin Cruz was an amazing person to be around. On October 27, 2005 his truck lost control and went off the road causing Justin’s death at age 17. His smile and charisma will never be forgotten by family and friends. Making sure of this, his mother, Michele Cruz, created a scholarship for high school seniors who play soccer, just like he did, and are to pursue a four year college program while keeping soccer in their life. All the proceeds of this event will go to the Scholarship Fund.
Run for Justin- and keep his memory alive for years to come.

About the Scholarship
The Justin Cruz Scholarship Foundation awards students on similar qualities Justin encompassed. It asks graduating students to write an essay describing their love of the game and how sportsmanship has shaped their life today. The scholarship requires the student has played four years of competitive soccer as well as intent to play in their collegiate career. The student must have a GPA of 3.0 to receive the scholarship.
